Julius Caesas. Hero or villain.
ReplyDeleteJulius Caesar was a very important part of our history. The Romans were the top dogs and they wanted to get up even higher. Before that happened he had to do one thing. Get voted on. His plan was to persuade the poor to vote for him which was very good for the Roman economy. Julius gave land, money, and tax breaks. The poor were two thirds so if you got them you probably will win. Sure enough his plan worked. He got the back into the picture. Julius raised the community aspect to the highest level. He immensely raised the caliber of in the community to the most equality that was ever seen in history.
Julius Caesar was a hero because he helped the poor get jobs and also lower taxes. Brutus the man who killed him was very stupid for doing that. That changed history when Caesar died.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't speak to Brutus if I was a man at those times. Caesar created very good opportunities but
that soon after ended once he died. Caesar will not be forgotten.
We have had many leaders in the past five hundred years some we don’t remember but the one we all remember is Julius Caesar. Julius was no doubt a hero. He gave money to the poor, and no other leader had ever thought of doing that. He lowered taxes for everyone and them all equal. He also gave the poor jobs, he didn’t treat them as slaves he gave them real jobs. Julius Caesar is a hero with a strong reputation.
ReplyDeleteJulius Caesar Hero or Villain
ReplyDeleteJulius Caesar is considered a hero but that's because they haven't herd the other side of the story. He enslaved so many people that the working citizens had no money and no job. He controlled so much land that people moving from other countries ran out of room and had to pay taxes as a roman citizen which took all the family's money. Julius Caesar may of helped the poor but that enraged the rich people that ended his life. Julius Caesar may have a good reputation with some people but to the people who had the money he was was the most over rated politic in Italy's history. This is the other side of the argument.
5.20.12 Is Julius Caesar Hero or Villain
ReplyDeleteI think that Julius Caesar is a villain because he lowered taxes and that ment that people did not have enough money for food and the things that helped them stay alive. He also declared himself dictator. I think that he got assassinated because people were not happy with his leadership. Why did his best friend Brutus assassinate him if he was his friend? He rendered the senate, helpless. He was assassinated on the steps of senate. He was also stabbed with daggers more than 23 times. He even dismissed his bodyguards before he got assassinated! that is what I think of Julius Caesar.
Lowering taxes is a GOOD thing.
DeleteJulius Caesar Hero or Villain
ReplyDeleteI think Julius Caesar is a hero because he helped the pore by giving them food and water. Once he threw a party for 20,000 pore people. He never thought less of any pore person he lowed taxes that helped some but did not help others. so that is how Julius Caesar is a hero.
Julius Ceasar was a hero. He gave money to the poor. He was a brave, young fighter. He threw a party for 20,000 poor people. At that party he gave away, money, oil for lamps and bread. Some soldiers feel like he has superhuman powers.
ReplyDeleteI think that Julius Caesar is good because he did great things to help the world. Julius helped Cleopatra become ruler of Egypt. He helped the poor by giving land and jobs. He made good laws to keep things fair for the wealthy and the poor. Julius also conquered land for people who were poor from all of the countries he conquered. But sadly on March 15 sixty senators or [ liberators] killed him with 23 stabs or more.
ReplyDeleteWas Julius Caesar a hero or villain?
ReplyDeleteI see Julius Caesar as a hero because he gave money and land to the poor. Also, he ushered in a long period of peace and prosperity for Rome. He was brave and a great leader. He was also a strong fighter. He also helped stabilize the Roman Republic when it was on the verge of collapse.
