  4. Why did the Peloponnesian War happen? What caused it?
Right after Sparta and Athens won the Persian invasion Athens got all of the credit for winning the war. The reason was because Athens had the navy and they attacked the Persians and won. Sparta got very jealous that Athens got the credit. Sparta had a very good army and had won battles on land too. Sparta decided one day that Athens doesn’t get all the credit for winning that war. We did a lot of it too. So then it became a very big war and Sparta proved that they help out a lot with their army.

  12. how many city states traded with Athens????????????????????????????????????????????????
All city states and towns on the islands went to athens to get fine wool and clothing. In return Athenians got crops some of the crops are corn, beans, wheat, grain, and wassabe. Even Sparta traded with Athens. The reason Sparta traded with Athens is that after the Pelopineshion war they lost a lot of farm land and animals. Since Athens was the bbigest trading spot and none of Sparta's allies where willing to help they had no choice but to go to Athens. Sparta traded with Athens for farm animals and wool. In return Athens got money and weapons.

  14. Question: Why did girls in Athens marry so young?
Answer: The girls were so young and didn’t have much of a choice who they were going to marry. Their fathers, uncles or brothers chose for them. They didn’t even get to meet the man they were marring until just before the wedding. Girls that young didn’t have that much therfore they didn’t get to chose who they were marrying. Isn’t that unfair?
